Competent  Fire Safety and the Role of the Fire Marshall.

3 to 4 Hours delivered by a qualified trainer.

We have designed this qualification for staff that has been appointed or intend to be appointed as a fire marshal/warden in the workplace.

The award is for employees who want to develop their fire safety awareness in order to assist their employers, by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risk (e.g. as fire wardens/marshals/stewards etc.)

There is a great importance of fire safety in the workplace, which is underpinned by health and safety legislation, that places a duty on employers to establish policies and procedures and ensure their employees receive appropriate training.
