Health & Safety For Employees
This qualification is suitable for anyone who is employed in paid or voluntary positions, as well as anyone looking to gain in valuable knowledge in health and safety. This qualification will explain to the learner the importance of health and safety as well as safe work methods, legal requirements. This qualification supports the employee in their due diligence requirements in the process of working towards a zero-accident work force.
This professional training course is 3 to 6 hours lead by one of our professional qualified trainers. This qualification is designed for use with other course in Manual Handling & Fire Safety. The certificate has no expiry date as long as competency is maintained. This qualification meets the recommendations and is fully up to date with HSE requirements.
Health & Safety for Supervisors and Managers
This qualification is suitable for anyone who is employed in paid or voluntary positions in a supervisory or management position including those looking for promotions or further their own career. The qualification will support managers and supervisors with their due diligence through a range of health and safety subjects including management, risk assessment, reporting, monitor and legal requirements. This qualification supports the business in their due diligence requirements in the process of working towards a zero-accident work force.
This professional training qualification is 10 to 20 hours lead by one of our professional qualified trainers. The certificate has no expiry date if competency is maintained. This qualification meets the recommendations and is fully up to date with HSE requirements.
The new qualification for those that have not taken this qualification before or they have let their qualification elapsed. The required course time is 18 hours over 3 days and no more than 10 weeks.
The refresher course is available to those that have an in-date certificate on the final assessment date. This qualification is 12 hours over a maximum of 6 weeks.
Both qualifications must be trained in a minimum of 2-hour segments and the certificate is valid for 3 years from the final assessment date.
This can be run as an Ofqual accredited qualification for an additional fee or be fully regulated as HSE Selecting a First Aid Training provided Requires by PTDQ. Distant learning available for this qualification.
RLSS National Pool Supervisors Qualification (NPSQ)
About the National Pool Supervisor Qualification (NPSQ)
The National Pool Supervisor Qualification (NPSQ) is a two-day course aimed at staff responsible for supervising lifeguards and managing essential health and safety within a leisure centre or swimming pool environment.
- Enhances your knowledge of why Risk Assessments, PSOP’s and Safe Systems of Work are in place to ensure a safe work environment, for both staff and customers.
- Gives you a basic understanding of the laws and industry guidelines that you and your team need to comply with.
- Helps you understand how to manage your team and provide feedback.
- An ideal course for newly appointed Leisure Supervisors or Duty Managers.
The NPSQ is suitable for Lifeguards wishing to progress in their career or for employers wanting to upskill their employees to manage lifeguards, team members and essential health and safety.
Courses can be designed to be bespoke for employers, making the course specific to an organisation detailing procedures and policies.
Pre-Requisites
This qualification is aimed at candidates aged 18+ who have a specific responsibility (paid or unpaid/voluntary) for managing and supervising a swimming pool environment.
Delivery method
NPSQ is delivered using workshops, hazard perception videos, scenario-based discussions and case studies. Candidates use workbooks, containing key syllabus information, to complete tasks, activities and make notes/actions to help once they return to the workplace.

The Essentials of fire Safety in the Workplace
3 to 4 Hours delivered by a qualified trainer.
This is a course designed to provide the underpinning knowledge for learners to operate safely in the workplace with regards to fire safety.
Qualification Objective To provide all employees with an excellent induction into fire safety in the workplace, or as an excellent refresher on fire safety.
This professional training qualification is 6 hours lead by one of our professional qualified trainers the certificate is valid for 3 years from the final assessment date.
This can be run as an Ofqual accredited qualification for an additional fee or be fully regulated by PTDQ. Both are regulated qualification is specific to infants aged under 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. It fulfils the requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as issued by the department for Education and Skills Foundation Stage relating to Early Years childcare. Distant learning available for this qualification.
Competent Fire Marshall for the Workplace
3 to 4 Hours delivered by a qualified trainer.
We have designed this qualification for staff that has been appointed or intend to be appointed as a fire marshal/warden in the workplace.
The award is for employees who want to develop their fire safety awareness in order to assist their employers, by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risk (e.g. as fire wardens/marshals/stewards etc.)
There is a great importance of fire safety in the workplace, which is underpinned by health and safety legislation, that places a duty on employers to establish policies and procedures and ensure their employees receive appropriate training.

Competent and Safe Manual Handling of Loads
4 to 6 Hours delivered by a qualified trainer.
This qualification is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to safely move objects in the workplace. The course builds on the best practice guidance from the Health and Safety Executive and provides learners with the opportunity to practice safe moving principles.
Qualification Objective to provide an understanding of the safe principles of manual handling, then being able to apply these principles to practical safe manual handling tasks.

2 to 3 hours training.
Covers legal advice and guidance for employees working with hazardous substances including competent and safe working methods
The Essentials of Working at Heights
2 to 3 hours training.
Covers legal advice and guidance for employees working at heights including competent and safe working methods.
Management of Risk Assessments
2 to 3 hours training.
Covers legal advice and guidance for employees that are required to complete risk assessments for their employer or business.
