Welcome Paul Salmon newsletter for January 2025. May I take this opportunity to wish all my valued customers, staff and suppliers a very happy new year and wishing you an amazing year in front of us.

2024 was a very good year for Paul Salmon

2024 for us at Paul R Salmon was very productive and we have set ourselves up for a very good 2025. The directors and owners have set our business goals to maintain the focus of exceptional quality and customer care, we feel this will improve in 2025 with the changes we have made. In August of 2024 we did a review of Paul R Salmon business values, performances and way we deliver, and monitor are products for the customer.

Being honest with you,  we found some issues, we found them mainly to be around one awarding organisation we pay lots of money a year to be with, they were giving us limited support to develop and make sure our customers was receiving the best, the awarding organisation did not meet our impeccable standards we demand for our customers and we had to make drastic changes to our training portfolio, something we have not needed to do for some time.

In September 2024 we join the STA (Safety Training Awards / Swimming Teachers Association) www.sta.co.uk

We now have an additional option for our customers that need pool lifeguard and pool emergency responder training. The STA pool lifeguard is very popular and is listed on safety in swimming pools document as a recommended qualification, furthermore its valid for 3 years (1 year more than RLSS currently) and recognised by Ofqual.

As well as pool lifeguard the STA have accredited us for first aid qualifications, level 3 award in education and training and level 4 internal quality assurance. Exciting times and looking forward to an excellent relationship with the STA.

Paul Salmon will still work with RLSS if our customers need cover for an assessment and mentoring, or lifeguard courses, please contact us.

In October Paul Salmon Joined NUCO (FAA) to become an approved licensed trainer with them. www.nucotraining.com

We were recommended to Nuco by one of our customers we work with, after an initial discussion with them, we at Paul R Salmon were very impressed and quickly found they could meet the impeccable standards we demand and could support our customers.

We have appointed Nuco / FAA to be our main certificates of Ofqual required first aid at work and emergency first aid at work. Their fees and have also seen a freeze to our training priced in 2025 1st quarter, something thing the old awarding organisation was going to force us to increase.

As well as first aid qualifications, we have the health and safety for the workplace recognised by Ofqual through Nuco and imminently in the first part of 2025 we are expecting the Level 3 award in health and safety to be launched and we will be offering that.

Again we are so excited to be a part of Nuco and FAA moving forwards and look forward to working with them in 2025.

In 2024 our relationship with PTDQ www.ptdq.co.uk went from strength to strength.

Thank you to PTDQ for your support and development in 2024. Our unannounced audit in 2024 has seen us get an outstanding rating from PTDQ auditing team of industry leading professionals, for the ninth year running.

We are the only training provider to have achieved this for more than five years running with PTDQ. I must thank all our team at Paul R salmon for their expertise, customer care and dedication to leading quality and value, the secrete to our success.

Happy new year everyone, please do not hesitate to contact us for any support or questions.
